Chevron Scarf

Yarn: Patons Classic Wool partial skein of each- Burgundy, Paprika, Camel, Leaf Green, Deep Olive, and Russet

Finished Measurements: 5 inches wide, 77 inches long

Needle: Clover Bamboo straights US size 7

Time to Knit: 3 days

Gauge: 6 sts/inch in chevron pattern

Pattern:

CHEVRON STITCH
Row 1
*knit front and back(of the same stitch), k4, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k 4, k front and back* repeat
Row 2
purl all stitches

Scarf

CO 30 sts in Burgundy

Knit two rows

Begin chevron pattern , leaving the first and last two stitches of each row as garter stitches (knit on both sides).

After 8 rows, switch to Paprika- changing colors every 8 rows (or 4 pattern repeats) in the following color order:
Burgundy
Paprika
Camel
Leaf green
Dark Olive
Russet

When scarf has reached 6 repeats of the color order, or desired length, knit two rows at the end of a color strip without switching colors, and then bind off all stitches.

Block scarf and allow to dry thoroughly
