Lavendar and Lillac Diagonal Scarf

Project: Lavender and Lilac Diagonal Scarf

Pattern:
Sweeney Todd Scarf by Vanessa Gribowski

Materials:
Patons SWS in Natural Violet (2 skeins), US size 7 needle

Time to Knit:
5 days

Notes:

This was perfect vacation knitting- not too big, and easy enough to remember, but enough of a pattern that you have to watch what you’re doing. I did quite a bit of this on the plane, and the rest in front of the TV.
It’s a little on the short side, but it will block out a bit. If I were to do it again with the same yarn, I might make it a little thinner, and longer- I’d use three skeins instead of the two. But I think it will be nice to tuck into a coat or jacket when it gets chilly.
I’d actually love to do another one in a hand dyed solid color. I love the way that it’s knit on an angle- so unexpected from such a simple garment. It really gives something plain a bit of sophistication.

It still needs a good blocking for length, but I had The Princess model it for me.
